In my travels around the country during the last 40 years, I have been repeatedly approached by people wanting to know about self hypnosis. It may sound strange, but even with the millions of people that have seen my stage show, there have been only a few that have said they use self-hypnosis. This is disappointing to me because I know how good a tool hypnosis is for self-improvement.
There are two good reasons why more people do not use self-hypnosis. Most try to learn by reading a book (if they can find one). The biggest problem with reading a book is that there is too much theoretical discussion and the normal person becomes confused. The second reason is the simple fact that a hypnotist can put you deeper into hypnosis than you can put yourself.
I created this program to enable you to get the assistance of a professional hypnotist at home. While I’ve made it easier by enclosing recommended suggestions for eight categories, I’ve also provided cards and instructions to help you write your own suggestions for a variety of other purposes:self-confidence, concentration, willpower and motivation, to name a few. On track 1 of the CD, I do the hypnotic induction for you, maximizing your ability to achieve a state of positive suggestibility. I leave one minute – the “magic minute” – open for you to give yourself a positive suggestion and then awaken you refreshed and ready for the rest of the day.
Track two is my bonus gift to you for relaxation. It is a common theory that a few minutes under hypnosis is equal to a good night’s rest. On this track, I do the induction and leave you a little quiet time to recharge your batteries. Just as I do with all the people who help me on stage, you will awaken feeling great and energized for the rest of the day. This is especially good after a hard day when you need to do something in the evening. And it’s my gift to you – one that you won’t get from other self-hypnosis programs.
Track three is to promote restful sleep. Due to the overwhelming questions on sleep, the sleep CD has been added. With the wonderful response this may be the most important track in this program. Thousands have said they got a good nights sleep.
Track four is waves to promote restful sleep and relaxation. Use after track three to further enhance relaxation. This track can be used at any time during the day to promote stress and tension release.
